When the diesel engine is running, the crankshaft gear rotates through the intermediate gear joint oil pump transmission gear, and the driving gear installed inside the oil pump rotates with the driving shaft, and at the same time drives the driven gear to rotate in the opposite direction. The teeth of the driving gear and the driven gear mesh, separating the inside of the pump body into two independent sealed spaces. With the high-speed rotation of the gear, the oil at the oil outlet between the gear teeth is brought to the pressure oil chamber, so that the oil in the oil pressure chamber increases continuously, the pressure rises and is sent out from the oil outlet. The oil in the oil-suction cavity is taken away to generate a partial vacuum, and the oil in the oil sump is continuously sucked into the oil-suction cavity. The oil delivery pressure of the oil pump is generally controlled by the pressure limiting valve on the oil filter. If the oil pressure is too high, the pressure limiting valve will be opened, and the oil inlet will let the oil flow directly into the oil pan to prevent the pressure in the oil circuit.
