    Inspection and Maintenance of Diesel Fuel Injector

    The failure caused by the loss of elasticity of the copper gasket of the fuel injector

    When a tractor is working, the third cylinder high-pressure oil pipe and the connecting nut of the injector spray oil outward. Tightening the coupling nut, does not work. The operator mistakenly believed that the joint of the high-pressure fuel pipe was damaged, so he replaced it with a new high-pressure fuel pipe, but the result was that the fuel injection continued. After inspection by technicians, not only the fuel is injected here, but also the fuel injector installation hole blows out, and the diesel engine has missing legs. It is preliminarily determined that the needle valve of the injector is burnt to death, causing the third cylinder to fail to work. After dismantling and checking, it turned out that the needle valve of the fuel injector was stuck in the closed position, causing high-pressure diesel to spray out from the connecting nut. Remove the copper gasket of the fuel injector to see that it has lost its elasticity due to repeated disassembly! This will cause blow-by gas and burn the needle valve of the fuel injector to death. Replace the gasket with a new one, soak the burnt fuel injector in diesel oil for a while, then take it out and clamp it on the vise, clamp the needle valve with a soft material on the jaw pad, and pull it out forcefully while rotating it. After pulling out the needle valve, remove carbon deposits on it with bamboo chips, then grind it with engine oil until a uniform and dark ring surface appears on the sealing surface of the needle valve, and finally clean the needle valve assembly with diesel oil, and troubleshoot after installation . The above two cases show that the disassembly and assembly of the injector is also very important. If the parts that should be tightened are not tightened, the diesel engine will not work normally. If the parts that should be replaced are not replaced in time, the diesel engine will also fail.
