Correctly install the fuel injector
Due to our improper operation when installing the fuel injector, the original good working performance of the ring fuel injector assembly will be destroyed, so that the diesel engine will not work well or cannot work. Therefore, when installing the fuel injector, the following aspects must be paid attention to:
(1) The sealing gasket of the fuel injector must not be missing. The purpose of the sealing gasket is not only to prevent air leakage and play a sealing role, but also to ensure that the fuel injector has an optimal position, so that the diesel engine can obtain the best economy and power when it is working. If the sealing gasket is missing, the joint between the fuel injector and the fuel injector seat hole is not well sealed, resulting in air leakage, and the pressure in the cylinder of the diesel engine is insufficient, so it is difficult or impossible to start. If there is a sound of air leakage, the fuel injector should be removed. , Check whether the gasket is missing, and never tighten the injector nut blindly. If there is no gasket in the seat hole or the gasket is invalid due to long-term use, you should reinstall or replace a qualified sealing ring. In our work, we have found that some mechanics do not pay attention to the specifications of the gasket. When they find that the gasket is missing or invalid, they just take a gasket and put it on the old gasket, and some even replace it with other gaskets. is wrong. Because the thickness of the sealing gasket has certain requirements, the thickness of the copper gasket is generally about 1.5 mm, and the gasket of some models is thicker. If the gasket is too thick or too thin, it will destroy the best working position and working performance of the injector.
(2) The tightening force of the pressure plate nut should be appropriate. The tightening force of the pressure plate nut should be airtight. At the same time, the tightening force of the two pressure plate nuts should be the same, otherwise it may cause improper installation of the injector, cause air leakage and affect the spray quality.
(3) Pay attention to cleanliness. When installing, not only pay attention to the cleanliness of the injector, but also pay attention to the cleanliness of the injector seat hole to eliminate carbon deposits and dust, otherwise the injector will be skewed, resulting in poor spray or air leakage.
