    Fuel injector tester tightness test

    Before adjusting and testing the fuel injector of the diesel engine, check the tightness of the fuel injector tester first. The method is: block the high-pressure oil outlet pipe of the fuel injector tester, press the handle, and stop when the pressure rises to 30000kPa And observe that it is good if the system pressure drop is not greater than 1000kPa within 3 minutes. the

    2. Inspection of fuel injectors

    (1) Inspection of injector tightness

    1) Check the tightness of the conical working surface of the injector plunger. Install the injector on the injector tester, press the handle continuously at a slow speed, stop pressing when it is lower than the standard injection pressure of 2000kPa, and observe the injection pressure. There should be no leakage within 10s from the nozzle hole of the oiler. the

    2) Check the tightness of the cylindrical working surface of the fuel injector plunger. Install the fuel injector on the fuel injector tester, use a screwdriver to turn the pressure adjusting screw, and press the handle of the tester continuously to adjust the fuel injection pressure to the standard When the pressure is 3000~5000kPa, observe the time required for the pressure to drop from 20000kPa to 18000kPa, which should not be less than 10 seconds.

    (2) Inspection of fuel injection pressure Install the fuel injector on the high-pressure oil pipe of the tester, press the handle of the tester, and discharge the air and dirt left in the oil pipe. Press the handle at a speed of 60 times/minute, and at the same time observe the reading on the pressure gauge during the injection process of the injector. The fuel injection pressure of the fuel injectors of each cylinder should be the same and meet the standard specified by the manufacturer. the

    (3) Inspection of the atomization quality of the fuel injector. Shake the handle of the fuel injector at a speed of 60-70 times per minute within the standard pressure range. The diesel oil sprayed out must be a uniform mist, and the sprayed oil particles should be small Uniform, no oil flow or oil droplets that can be seen by the naked eye, and a crisp sound is normal. Check the fuel injector immediately after stopping the fuel injection. There should be no oil droplets. After multiple injections, allow the vicinity of the nozzle hole to be slightly wet.
