    Preventive Measures for Early Wear of Needle Valve Couplings

    Abstract: Taking the needle valve coupling of fuel injector as the research object, the finite element model of needle valve and needle valve coupling was established by using ANSYS analysis software, and the deformation and equivalent stress of needle valve and needle valve coupling and the equivalent stress of the coupling under static contact and collision state were simulated and analyzed, and the influence of different sealing cone angles on the wear of the fuel injector sealing surface was compared. The results show that the deformation and stress are the largest at the intersection line between the sealing cone and the cylinder of the pressure chamber, and the maximum deformation of the needle seat with different sealing cone angles is basically the same, ranging from 1.443 3 to 1.4440μm. When the sealing cone Angle of needle valve coupling is 60°, the maximum equivalent stress of needle valve coupling is 285.02 MPa; When the sealing cone Angle is 120°, the maximum equivalent stress is 318.91 MPa, which is most likely to lead to the wear and failure of the injector needle valve pair
