    a four-cylinder diesel engine and a six-cylinder diesel engine

    For a four-cylinder diesel engine, there are four cam profiles on the flat cam plate of the distribution pump, which are 90° apart from each other; four rollers are installed in the roller seat, which are also 90° apart from each other. There are four oil inlet grooves on the top of the plunger and an oil outlet groove on the circumference. The corresponding distribution sleeve has an oil inlet hole and four oil outlet holes. Every time the oil pump drive shaft rotates 90°, under the cooperation of the cam and the plunger spring, the plunger is pulled and pushed once to the left and right while rotating 90°, and the plunger completes the process of oil supply, oil pressure and distribution. This fuel supply process is repeated four times, and fuel is injected into the four cylinders respectively. In one working cycle of the diesel engine, the distribution pump drive shaft rotates once.

    For a six-cylinder diesel engine, there are six cam profiles on the flat cam plate of the distribution pump, spaced 60° apart from each other; four rollers are installed in the roller seat, spaced apart at 60° and 120° respectively. There are six oil inlet grooves on the top of the plunger, and there is still only one oil outlet groove on the circumference. The corresponding distribution sleeve also has one oil inlet hole and six oil outlet holes. Every time the oil pump drive shaft rotates 60°, the plunger completes the oil supply process of oil inlet, oil pressure and distribution. This oil supply process is repeated six times, and the distribution pump drive shaft rotates once.

    Whether it is a four-cylinder distribution pump or a six-cylinder distribution pump, the oil supply process of the plunger completing one oil inlet, oil pressure and distribution is the same.
