Wear Characteristics and Influence of Injector Needle Valve Couplings
It is a common fault that the needle valve of the fuel injector of the diesel engine is "burned" during use. When the diesel engine is working, the pressure adjusting screw on the fuel injector is tightened or loosened, but the diesel engine has no change. In addition, due to the different positions of the needle valve of the fuel injector when it is "burned out", the performance of the diesel engine is not exactly the same when it is running. When the needle valve is "burned out" in the open state, there will be a certain rhythmic metal knocking sound in the cylinder. The temperature of the fuel injector, high-pressure oil pipe and exhaust pipe of the engine is higher than that of other cylinders. During the oil cut-off inspection, the knocking sound and white smoke from the exhaust will disappear after the oil is cut off. Take out the "burned" fuel injector needle valve from the loosened part of the high-pressure fuel pipe to observe its guide part. It can be seen that most of the original bright surface has been burned. The hot gas in the cylinder flows back into the injector cavity, causing the diesel in the injector cavity to decompose and carbonize to form carbon deposits, resulting in damage to the sealing of the seat surface. The fuel injector is overheated, causing the needle valve movement to block and the diesel atomization is poor, and finally the needle valve of the fuel injector is burned to death.
