Common faults of diesel fuel injection pump
1. The early wear and tear of the plunger coupler
The precision of the plunger couple is high.
As the use time becomes longer, its moving surface will be under the dual action of abrasives and machinery, and the matching gap will become larger, resulting in a drop in the pressure of the oil supply, which will reduce the spray quality of the injector, which will make the engine It becomes difficult to start, the fuel consumption increases and the power is insufficient. When the engine is running at a low speed, the oil leakage increases significantly. the
2. Fuel injection pump camshaft roller key
The camshaft roller key of the fuel injection pump will change the angle of fuel supply and affect the operation of the diesel engine. There are two main reasons:
One is that the taper of the camshaft taper and the inner hole taper of the oil pump spline sleeve do not match during production or use, and the bonding surface of the two is lower than 80%. After the installation is completed, the spline sleeve will loosen in a short period of time. Form a roll key.
Checks can be made without the 4×16 half cone key installed:
Apply oily red lead powder to the cone surface of the camshaft, carefully check the hole surface of the bushing cone, the bonding surface should still be greater than 80%.
Parts can be replaced if the requirements are not met.
The second is that the length of the taper surface of the oil pump spline sleeve is shorter than that of the camshaft taper surface.
Design the dimensions according to the length of the spline sleeve and the taper of the camshaft. No matter how it is processed, the spline sleeve also makes the length of the camshaft smaller than the former. This length is longer than the camshaft nut and can tightly fix the two together. .
However, in actual production, there are products that do not meet this length. Even though the camshaft nuts are tightened as required, the spline sleeves are not tightly fixed, and the axial clearance still moves, causing the spline sleeves to move outwards, eventually forming roll key.
