    3. The plunger of the fuel injection pump is stuck
    If there are particulate impurities falling into the gap between the plunger and the plunger sleeve, it will cause the plunger to be stuck and strained. The stuck plunger of the fuel injection pump has become an important factor affecting the reliability of the diesel engine.
    Once the plunger coupling is stuck, the work of the governor will be affected, resulting in unstable speed of the diesel engine, and in severe cases, a speeding accident and a flameout of the diesel engine.
    The causes of fuel injection pump plunger sticking are as follows:
    When assembling, the connecting parts are installed too tightly, the pump body and the plunger sleeve are easily deformed, and in serious cases, they will be broken;
    Because the assembly is not suitable or foreign objects fall into it, there will be stagnation between the parts;
    Or there is water in the engine oil, and the viscosity of the engine oil is too high, which will lead to inflexible operation in winter, which will damage the performance of the governor, and even cause engine flameout and "speeding" phenomenon, which will eventually damage the whole machine.
    Once the fuel injection pump is cracked or deformed, parts must be replaced.
    Incorrect oil used for debugging the new fuel injection pump is also the cause of sticking. If the actual colloid concentration and acidity of the diesel oil used are high, a layer of remaining oil film will adhere to the surface of the precision coupling parts of the fuel injection pump after debugging. Stuck phenomenon will also occur later.
    If the new fuel injection pump is not well kept, there is a problem with the packaging, and the moisture-proof and anti-rust materials are missing or damaged, etc., are the reasons for the sticking phenomenon.
