1.Listen to your engine: When the injector is working properly, it clicks. This clicking sound is caused by the correct opening and closing of the valve. If you don't hear a click, the injector may have broken. In order to hear the click, you can use a screwdriver or metal rod instead. To do this, the tip of the screwdriver is placed in the position of the fuel injector while the engine is running. Then place your ear on the other end so that the sound can be transmitted. This method is a good way to avoid getting your face too close to the running engine.

2.Try the light test: Turn off the engine but let the battery continue to run so that electronic functions such as lights and radio are still active. Clamp the test light to the negative terminal of the battery. The tip of the test lamp is then placed on a small portion of the exposed wire of the injector. When you do this, the test light should be lit.

3.Check for leaks: put a paper towel under the injector, turn the ignition to the on position, but do not start the engine. If you find fuel on a paper towel, the injector is leaking.

4.Check your engine's emissions: If your emissions have changed, it means your engine has changed, which could be a sign of a problem with the injectors.
