    In order to prolong the service life of the injector and improve the closing speed of the needle valve, the low inertia injector should be used for the diesel engine with the rotational speed greater than 3000r/ min. But low inertia injector spring diameter is small, mechanical stress and thermal stress is large, so the spring quality requirements are relatively improved. In addition, in order to further reduce the motion inertia, the method of reducing the diameter of the needle valve can be used to further reduce the motion inertia of the fuel injector. The low inertia of the fuel injector is good for preventing cavitation on the surface of the needle seat, avoiding the carbon accumulation stuck in the fuel nozzle caused by gas backflow, and the delayed injection caused by the ineffective reaction of the needle valve.  For example, YG6105QC diesel engine uses low inertia fuel injector.

    The injection pressure (force j) of diesel engine is an important parameter of fuel injection system. When other parameters of the injection system are certain, the injection pressure is determined by the injection pressure. The normal injection pressure of 12150L diesel engine is 21 MPa, but it will gradually decrease with the growth of the service life. After the service expiration, it generally drops to 17.3 ~ 19.4 MPa. The drop of starting pressure will advance the injection, increase the injection duration, increase the oil supply, and lead to the increase of diesel engine power. At the same time, the fuel injection rate decreases, the oil beam range is shortened, the average diameter of the v oil particle increases, the spray quality deteriorates, the combustion deteriorates, resulting in the economic decline of the diesel engine. In addition, starting pressure drop is also easy to form carbon deposit in the head of the needle valve.
