Inspection of fuel injectors
If conditions permit, the fuel injector can be directly installed on the fuel injector test bench for test inspection according to the specified requirements. In the absence of a fuel injector test bench, the adjustment can be directly checked on the diesel engine, which can be carried out in the following two ways:
(1) First prepare a standard fuel injector (the fuel injector whose fuel injection pressure and spray quality are checked and adjusted) and a three-way joint, install it on the fuel injection pump (the fuel injection pump must supply oil normally) On the joint of the oil outlet valve, carry out a comparative inspection. Put the throttle on the maximum oil supply position, depressurize the diesel engine, rotate the crankshaft at a speed of 100 ~ 200 r/min, and compare the standard fuel injector with the tested fuel injector.
If the standard fuel injector and the tested fuel injector inject fuel at the same time, the atomization is good, the fuel injection sound is crisp, and there is no oil leakage and dripping, it means that the fuel injection pressure and atomization quality of the tested fuel injector are qualified. If the inspected injector injects oil before or after the standard injector, it means that the injection pressure of the inspected injector is low or high, and it should be adjusted by screwing in or back the pressure regulating screw , until the inspected fuel injector is the same as the standard one. If the two fuel injectors inject fuel at the same time, and the detected fuel injector has poor atomization, oil beams or oil drops, it means that there is a problem with the detected needle valve coupling, and it needs to be repaired or replaced.
