High-pressure diesel pump noise analysis
According to the actual existing engine noise problems, the engine timing side and top noise are mainly analyzed. Because the structure of the engine is too complex, the reasons for its noise are also complex. Therefore, being able to find out the excitation source and transmission path of the noise, and then perform targeted optimization can save a lot of work. After experimental analysis, it was found that the excitation sources of engine timing side noise and top noise are both high-pressure diesel pumps. Optimize the transmission path of high-pressure diesel pump excitation to the engine timing side and top to achieve the purpose of reducing noise. The noise on the timing side is a "chirp" sound around 2800Hz. Analyze the noise characteristics to find the excitation source and transmission path. It was found that the stiffness of the water pump housing itself has a great influence on the vibration transfer function. The greater the stiffness of the water pump housing, the further away the transfer function is from the vibration frequency. The belt tension of the timing gear train also has a great influence on the noise on the timing side. If the belt tension is too large or too small, it will cause strong vibration. After testing, the minimum vibration tension was finally found to be 344N. The timing cover has a mode near 2800Hz, which is prone to resonance and radiation noise. Adding a constraint to the timing cover can effectively improve its stiffness. The noise on the top of the engine is the radiation noise of the fuel system, with a frequency of 500Hz, and the excitation source is the high-pressure diesel pump. By analyzing the 500Hz noise at the top of the engine, it was found that the noise is mainly transmitted by resonance in the high-pressure diesel pipe, and the optimization design was carried out: adding a mass block, changing the damping, stiffness and other parameters of the high-pressure diesel pipe.
