The working principle of the fuel injector

The main working part of the injector is the nozzle couple, which is composed of the needle valve and the needle valve body. Usually, the needle valve is closed under the pressure regulating spring in the injector. The plunger of the fuel injection pump pressurizes the fuel and transfers the pressurized high pressure fuel to the oil storage chamber of the nozzle, making the pressure PD in the oil storage chamber rise. When the fuel pressure PD in the oil storage chamber is higher than the opening pressure PNO clockwise valve rises, fuel is sprayed out of the annular gap between the nozzle and the needle valve in a fog.
