Analysis of Common Faults of Fuel Injector
The fuel injector is one of the three precision parts of the diesel engine fuel system, and the matching accuracy is high. If it is not used and maintained properly, it will cause serious carbon deposits in the fuel injector, causing it to burn or get stuck, and the fuel injection pressure is too high or too low , thus affecting the normal operation of the diesel engine. Therefore, in the use and maintenance of the vehicle, the fuel injector must be highly valued so that the fuel injector can always be kept in a normal technical state.
1.1 Injector wear
Injector (pintle type) The parts that often wear are: sealing cone surface, pintle and guide part. The cause of abnormal wear of these parts is mainly caused by impurities in diesel oil. The wear of the sealing cone surface of the injector (needle valve cone surface and needle valve body cone surface) will cause oil dripping from the injector nozzle, forming carbon deposits, and in severe cases, the nozzle hole will be blocked. The wear of the matching part of the pin and the injection hole will increase the diameter of the injection hole and change the injection angle, resulting in poor atomization of fuel. The wear of the guide part increases the oil return of the injector, reduces the oil supply, reduces the injection pressure, and delays the injection time.

There are four possible reasons for the stuck needle valve: 1. Incorrect installation of the fuel injector. The gasket at the lower end of the fuel injector is a copper gasket. Affected by high temperature, the needle valve is sintered and stuck. 2 Diesel contains impurities or excessive moisture. 3. The cone surface of the needle valve of the fuel injector is not tightly sealed, and the diesel fuel leaking to the end face of the fuel injector will cause the fuel injector to burn out when it burns. 4. The diesel engine is overloaded for a long time, or the fuel supply time is too early or too late, and the diesel fuel is not completely burned to produce carbon deposits, resulting in poor heat dissipation of the injector and jamming. If the needle valve is stuck when it is in the open state, the diesel oil sprayed out by the fuel injector cannot be atomized and cannot be completely burned. If the needle valve is stuck in the closed state, no matter how high the oil supply pressure of the fuel injection pump is, the needle valve cannot be opened, and the cylinder cannot work.
