The working principle of the fuel injector
With the continuous development of engine pollutant control emission level, the vast majority of diesel engines currently use electronically controlled high-pressure common rail fuel system, system pressure range from 1600bar to 2500bar, electronically controlled fuel injector is the most core parts of the whole electronically controlled high-pressure common rail fuel system, processing difficulty and complexity is the largest. ECU drives the solenoid valve of the injector to open at high speed. The amount of fuel injection depends on the power-on time of the solenoid valve, the injection pressure, the diameter of the nozzle and other factors. Because the high pressure common rail injector responds quickly, multiple injection has become one of the biggest characteristics of the high pressure common rail fuel system.
Fuel injector solenoid valve is the core component of diesel electric control system, its electromagnetic force and rapid response ability directly affect the injection pressure and injection precision
The static electromagnetic force of solenoid valve is mainly affected by driving current, working clearance, coil turns, core magnetic material, magnetic pole area inside and outside electromagnet, armature thickness and other factors. The driving parameters represented by driving current, the assembly parameters represented by working air gap and damping gap, and the structural parameters represented by coil turns are the key parameters affecting the electromagnetic force of solenoid valve.
When the driving current is less than 4A, the solenoid valve total reluctance is small, soft magnetic materials are not easy to occur magnetic saturation phenomenon, driving current becomes the main factor affecting the electromagnetic force change. When the driving current is greater than 4A, although the increase of the total flux is the main factor for the increase of the electromagnetic force, the increase of the total reluctance of the solenoid valve makes the decrease of the electromagnetic force gradually increase, which leads to the decrease of the electromagnetic force of the solenoid valve.
