    Fuel injector spring inspection and repair

    (1)Check whether the spring has excessive wear and damage.

    (2)Test the spring pressure on the spring tester. If the load of the injector spring compressed to a certain height is less than the "wear limit" load, then the spring must be scrapped.

    (3) Check the verticality of the spring for the top limit injector. The method is as follows: the spring is placed in a V-shaped block and placed upright together on a platform; Maintain contact between the spring ring, the V-shaped block and the support plate while turning the spring. Measuring the flatness of the end face of the spring with a dial meter; Turn the spring in the V-shaped block over and use the same procedure as above to check the flatness of the other end of the spring; Springs that do not meet this standard can only be used on non - top - stop fuel injectors or scrapped. Note that the roughness of each end shall not exceed 0.41mm.

    Inspection and repair of nozzle head

    (1) Check the damage and unevenness of the end plane of the nozzle head plunger sleeve. Check the surface unevenness with a flat plate (preferably a grinding plate) and a "bluing agent". If the nozzle head is found to be damaged or uneven, mark it to be repaired.

    (2) The nozzle can be used for spray inspection on special maintenance tools. This tool can be used to inspect the nozzle head before it is attached to the injector.
