The function of the high-pressure pump is to compress the fuel from a low-pressure state to a high-pressure state through the plunger to meet the system and engine requirements for fuel injection pressure and fuel injection volume.
The function of the high-pressure fuel rail is to store fuel while suppressing pressure fluctuations caused by high-pressure pump fuel supply and fuel injector injection to ensure system pressure stability.
