Optimization of injection pressure
Inspection of fuel injector - fuel injector plunger sleeve
(1)Check for scratches on the hole in the plunger sleeve of the injector. If the injector has passed the tightness test on the tester, the plunger sleeve is usable. If the leakage is large, the plunger and plunger sleeve must be replaced.
(2) Use a high-magnification magnifying glass to check the burrs, carbon deposits and deformation in the measuring hole. When the metering hole is damaged, the injector cannot work normally. Do not attempt to clean with steel wire, plug gauges, etc., use solvent cleaning.
(3)Check the looseness of the plug in the fuel passage and whether there is any crack on the plunger sleeve. On the continuous contact surface (black ring x) of the plunger sleeve, check the surface of the injector plunger sleeve for damage and flatness. Before bluing, all the oil film on the plunger sleeve should be thoroughly cleaned and dried, and the straightness of the plane should be checked using a flat plate (preferably a grinding flat plate) and "blueing agent". If damage or unevenness is found, it should be repaired by Yanxin. Do not use abrasive cloths or wire brushes on the contact surfaces of the plunger sleeve and injector tip.
(4) If the injector is overheated, the sealing gasket between the plunger sleeve and the injector body may melt. The nozzle head tight cap will loosen, therefore, there may be lubricating oil dilution, injector nozzle hole clogging, injector sleeve or plunger damage.
(5) The oil inlet and oil return holes on the large-capacity plunger sleeve are about 1.27 ~ 1.65 mm higher than the oil holes on the standard plunger sleeve. It is not possible to mix standard injectors and high volume injectors on the same diesel engine.
