    Injector plunger and connecting pipe
    (1) If the injector plunger is too worn, it should be replaced (2) Check carefully for metal scratches. This metal galling can cause the plunger to seize or seize. (3) Bright spots or surface scratches on the top, bottom and middle of the plunger working surface are generally caused by the side thrust of the rocker arm. Provided there is no flaking of metal or observable wear at these locations, the plunger may continue to be used. If the wear is excessive, a new plunger should be fitted. (4) Small streaks along the length of the plunger movement are usually caused by the uneven thickness of the anti-rust penetration treatment layer. If there is no obvious surface scratches, the plunger can be safely reused. (5) Check the cracks and looseness of the press fit between the plunger and the connecting pipe to see if it can be turned by hand. Check whether the spring contact surface of the plunger flange is excessively worn or damaged, check the wear or cracks of the plunger ball socket, check and remove the carbon deposits on the small outer diameter near the taper end of the plunger. Note that care should be taken during operation to prevent the plunger of the fuel injector from being damaged, because the plunger may be scrapped as soon as it is damaged. (6) The sticking of the plunger of the top limit injector can generally be solved by changing to a chrome-plated plunger injector. The identification mark of the large-capacity plunger is that there is a wider oil return groove on the plunger. The old oil return groove is 5.46 mm wide, while the current large capacity plunger oil return groove is 6.73 mm wide. High-capacity plungers can be used in large-capacity plunger housings or in standard plunger housings.
