Remove the small front-end cover of the diesel engine and check that the fastening bolts of the high-pressure diesel pump transmission gear are not loose. Manually crank the diesel engine for more than two turns and it is normal. Observe the front-end gear system. There are no abnormalities in the appearance and rotation of each component. Remove the fresh water and seawater pumps. , touch and check the camshaft gear and water pump gear. There is no abnormality in the visible parts. In order to investigate the cause of the failure, remove the high-pressure diesel pump transmission device and high-pressure diesel pump coupling, and arrange for return to the factory for inspection. After returning to the factory, check the pump drive shaft. There is slight jamming in manual rotation, and the large positioning nut is not loose. There are no slip marks between the shaft and the flange tapered surface. The assembly of the pump transmission assembly meets the requirements and there are no abnormalities. Disassemble the drive shaft, and the bearings at both ends of the drive shaft are not damaged.
