    End point adjustment working principle

    The plunger moves downward. When the top surface of the plunger opens the diesel inlet and return holes on the sleeve, the fuel enters the sleeve through the diesel inlet and return holes until the plunger reaches the lowest position. When the column is moved upward from the lowest position by the high-pressure diesel pump cam, part of the fuel flows back into the diesel inlet space through the diesel inlet and return holes until the upper end surface of the plunger closes the diesel inlet and return holes, and the fuel begins to be compressed. The plunger continues to move upward, and the fuel pressure gradually increases. When the pressure increases exceed the remaining pressure in the high-pressure diesel pipe, the diesel outlet valve opens, and the high-pressure fuel flows to the injector until the pressure increases to the injector valve opening pressure to open the fuel injection. The engine starts injecting fuel. When the plunger continues to move up to the chute and opens the diesel return hole, the high-pressure fuel in the upper part of the plunger communicates with the diesel return hole through the straight groove and chute of the plunger head and flows back to the diesel inlet chamber, and the high-pressure diesel pump stops pumping diesel. At this time, the pressure in the sleeve cavity drops rapidly, the diesel outlet valve closes, and the injector stops injecting fuel. The diesel volume adjustment is achieved by adjusting the position of the rack to drive the adjustment ring gear to rotate, which drives the column to rotate, changing the effective stroke of the plunger top surface and the chute, and realizing diesel volume adjustment. The high-pressure diesel pump of the diesel engine raises the fuel to a certain pressure and injects the fuel into the cylinder through the injector regularly and quantitatively according to the load of the diesel engine for combustion.
