    Plunger

    Structure: The plunger and plunger sleeve are a pair of precision parts with a very small gap, about 0.0018-0.003mm, and cannot be interchanged after pairing and grinding;

    The upper part of the plunger sleeve has oil inlet and return holes, both of which are connected to the low-pressure oil chamber in the upper body of the pump.

    The lower part of the plunger is processed with a tongue for adjusting the oil supply.

    There is an oblique groove on the cylindrical surface of the plunger head, and it is connected to the top through the central oil passage. Its purpose is to change the circulating oil supply.The oblique groove on the cylindrical surface of the plunger head: there are two types: straight groove and spiral groove. There are many kinds of directions of rotation. The one that rises to the left is called left-hand rotation and the one that rises to the right is called right-hand rotation; the groove that is directly connected to the top of the plunger is called an upper groove; the groove that is connected to the top of the plunger through a straight groove is called a bottom two. Those that have both are called dual devices. The oil supply start and end times and oil supply rates are different for different grooves.

    Three Processes:

    1. Oil inlet process: When the plunger moves from the bottom dead center to below the oil inlet hole, the fuel fills the pump oil chamber under the vacuum suction and the pressure of the oil transfer pump.

    2. Oil pressure process: The camshaft rotates driven by the injection timing gear. The cam on the camshaft drives the roller body to move upward. The roller body drives the plunger to move upward. When the plunger moves upward from the bottom dead center to the When the oil hole is closed, the fuel pressure in the pump oil chamber will suddenly increase, pushing the oil outlet valve open, and forcing high-pressure oil into the high-pressure oil pipe.

    3. Oil return process: When the plunger moves upward to the spiral groove line or the upper line of the chute is higher than the lower edge of the oil inlet hole, the high-pressure oil flows back to the low-pressure oil chamber at high speed through the straight groove or center hole on the plunger. As the oil pressure in the oil chamber of the pump drops sharply, the oil outlet valve returns quickly under the action of the spring and residual pressure, and the oil pump stops supplying oil. The plunger continues to rise until the top dead center, which is the oil return process.
