- The electromagnetic injector is an important executive part of the gasoline electronically controlled engine. It opens the injector according to the instruction of the engine computer, so that the fuel enters the intake manifold or the cylinder under a certain pressure according to a certain injection angle and flow rate (for direct injection As far as the engine is concerned), the fuel particles are atomized to be finer, which is convenient for the fuel to fully contact with the air, absorb heat, and evaporate, thereby quickly forming a gaseous combustible mixture. If the electromagnetic injector is damaged, it will make the exhaust emission of the engine worse, the harmful substances in the exhaust gas will exceed the standard, the engine power will drop, the work will not be smooth, shake, and in severe cases, it will even fail to start.
There are generally two types of electromagnetic injectors installed on gasoline electronically controlled engines: pin type and hole type. The pin-type electromagnetic injector has a high self-cleaning ability, and the hole-type electromagnetic injector atomizes fine and uniform particles, and is often installed in multi-valve engines.
Common electromagnetic injector failures: one is the mechanical failure of the electromagnetic injector itself, and the other is the failure caused by the circuit.
