The 133rd Canton Fair will be held online and offline in three phases from April 15 to May 5. This year’s Canton Fair has fully resumed offline exhibitions, using a new venue with an area of 100,000 square meters for the first time, attracting buyers from more than 200 countries and regions, and nearly 35,000 enterprises participating in offline exhibitions. At the same time, this year’s Canton Fair added new exhibition areas and special areas such as industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing, new energy and intelligent networked vehicles, smart life, silver-haired economy, etc., and more than 300 new product launch events were held to fully demonstrate the development of technological innovation and advanced manufacturing. latest results.

It is reported that, as the largest session in history, the total exhibition area of this Canton Fair has increased from 1.18 million square meters to 1.5 million square meters, and the number of booths has increased from 60,000 to nearly 70,000. Offline exhibitors increased from 25,000 to 34,933, new exhibitors exceeded 9,000, and online exhibitors reached 39,281.

This year’s Canton Fair is the first time to set up an import exhibition in all three exhibition periods. According to the “People’s Daily” report, this year’s Canton Fair further expanded the scale of the import exhibition. For the first time, the import exhibition was set up in all three exhibition periods, reaching 30,000 square meters, an increase of 50% compared with that before the epidemic. 508 companies from 40 countries and regions participated in 12 professional exhibition areas, of which 73% were exhibitors from countries and regions along the “Belt and Road”. There are a total of about 5,700 leading enterprises in the industry and high-quality enterprises with titles such as “little giants” specializing in specialization, manufacturing individual champions, national high-tech enterprises, and national enterprise technology centers. The quality of exhibits has been further improved. Enterprises have uploaded more than 3 million exhibits online, including nearly 800,000 new products and nearly 500,000 green and low-carbon products.

According to data released by the General Administration of Customs of China recently, in terms of US dollars, China’s exports in March this year increased by 14.8% year-on-year, ending four consecutive declines, and the year-on-year decline in imports narrowed sharply to 1.4%, showing signs of recovery in foreign trade.
