Causes And Troubleshooting Of Fuel Injection Pump Failure
1. Wear of plunger pair. Impurities mixed in the fuel often cause wear of plunger pair, delayed fuel supply, reduced fuel supply, decreased diesel engine power, difficulty in starting, unstable idling, etc. At this time, the plunger pair should be replaced in time and adjusted on the oil pump test bench.
2. Wear of oil outlet valve. The main wear parts are the sealing cone surface of the oil outlet valve, the pressure relief ring belt and the valve seat hole. Severe wear of the sealing cone surface of the oil outlet valve will cause delayed injection time, reduced oil pressure, reduced injection volume, difficulty in starting the diesel engine, unstable idling or automatic flameout; severe wear of the pressure relief ring belt and the inner hole of the valve seat will cause the injection time to be advanced, the injection time to be extended, the stop of injection is not clean and there is a drop after, and the diesel engine works roughly. When these phenomena occur, it means that the oil outlet valve is seriously worn and the oil outlet valve pair should be replaced.
3. Wear of transmission parts. Wear of the mutually moving parts in the fuel injection pump transmission mechanism (such as the plunger tail end face, roller body, adjustment pad, cam, etc.) will cause changes in the injection time, which will cause the diesel engine power to drop, fuel consumption to increase, and start difficulty. Severely worn parts should be replaced and the fuel supply advance angle should be adjusted.
4. The fuel supply rod is stuck. If the fuel supply rod positioning bushing is worn, it will lose its original positioning function and cause the rod to get stuck. If the rod is stuck in the stop fuel supply position, the diesel engine cannot start; if it is stuck in the fuel supply position, the governor will be out of control, and even cause the diesel engine to run away.
