Structure and working principle of diesel pump
Structure and working principle of diesel pump
As long as the engine is running, whether the car is traveling or not, the diesel pump is running for the automatic transmission in the torque converter shift actuators, hydraulic control valves and other parts of the hydraulic oil required to provide a certain pressure to ensure their normal operation. Diesel injection pump is the core component of the fuel supply system of the class oil engine, which directly affects the dynamics, economy and emission performance of the class oil engine.
1, the basic structure and function of the injection pump
The injection pump is mainly composed of system body, column race, oil valve, camshaft, governor and so on. Its function is to accurately measure and control the supply of fuel according to the operating conditions of the diesel engine and load changes, in order to meet the needs of diesel engine cylinders in different situations.
2, the working process and principle of the injection pump
The working process of the injection pump consists of three stages: oil inlet, oil supply and oil return; in the oil inlet stage, the plunger goes down and the fuel is sucked into the pump chamber; in the oil supply stage, the plunger goes up and the pressure of the fuel in the system cavity rises, and when the pressure is more than the opening pressure of the outlet valve, the fuel is pressed into the high-pressure oil pipe; in the oil return stage, the fuel pressure inside the pump chamber decreases rapidly as the plunger sleeve continues to move up and the outlet valve closes, and the residual fuel inside the system cavity flows back through the oil return hole. The remaining fuel in the pump chamber flows back to the fuel tank through the return hole.
