    Structure of fuel injector

    The two major technological innovations in the development of diesel engine technology are related to fuel system. The application of electronic control technology is regarded as a milestone in the development of diesel engine technology.

    The main parts of the fuel injector are solenoid valve, control valve, piston and needle valve couple parts. The high pressure fuel is transported by the common rail pipe. There are two fuel delivery routes in the fuel injector, one goes into the control chamber above the control piston and the other goes into the accumulator chamber at the top of the needle valve. When the solenoid valve is not energized, the oil outlet in the control room is closed. Because the cross-sectional area of the control piston is larger than the area of the needle valve conical pressure surface, coupled with the preloading force of the piston spring, the needle valve is tightly pressed on the seat surface; When the solenoid valve receives the control signal and is connected, the oil outlet hole is gradually opened, at this time, the flow difference of the fuel in the control room gradually decreases, the liquid pressure on the piston is weakened, the needle valve gradually rises, the fuel flows into the nozzle pressure chamber after the spray hole, the formation of fuel spray. When the solenoid valve power, the electromagnetic force is reduced, the hydraulic pressure is not enough to overcome the spring preload force and make the needle valve to sit again, the end of the oil injection.
