During the working process of the injector, the sealing cone surface of the needle valve body is frequently and violently impacted by the needle valve. At the same time, the impurities in the diesel oil are continuously washed away by the high-pressure oil flow to form nicks or spots on the cone surface, which will easily lead to a decrease in sealing performance, and further Cause the injector to drip.
The dripping of the fuel injector will lead to the formation of carbon deposits at the nozzle holes and even blockage of the nozzle holes, increasing the fuel consumption of the diesel engine, and irregular crackling sounds in the cylinder. To this end, you can disassemble the injector, apply a small amount of abrasive paste such as chromium oxide on the cone surface of the needle valve for grinding, then soak it in 80C diesel oil, wash it, and reassemble it for testing. If it is still unqualified, it means that the needle If the cone surface of the valve is severely worn, the needle valve coupler needs to be replaced. During the maintenance process, care must be taken not to stick the abrasive paste in the needle valve hole, and at the same time avoid the injector parts from colliding with other hard objects to avoid scratches.
