Exhibition Introduction
The 2025 Brussels Motor Show opened on the 10th at the Brussels Exhibition Center. BYD, SAIC Datsun, Red Flag, Xiaopeng, Chery, Zero Run and more than ten Chinese brands exhibited with new models and new technologies, and exchanged views with industry insiders on the trends of electrification and intelligent transformation of the automotive industry.
Chery Automobile, which participated in the auto show for the first time, brought two models, OMODA 5 and JAECOO 7. According to Du Chengjun, the person in charge of Chery Benelux, despite facing many external challenges, Chery has played to its own technological advantages, digested short-term unfavorable factors, laid out in Belgium for more than a year, and set up a joint venture plant in Spain, realizing a double harvest of brands and benefits.
Exhibits
Red Flag displayed its new energy sub-brand’s first model, EH7, as well as the pure electric medium and large SUV, EHS7. Xiaopeng Auto brought three models, G6, G9 and P7+, of which Xiaopeng’s concept car, the Traveler X2 flying car, became a highlight of the show and attracted a lot of attention.
At this year’s show, traditional internal combustion engine models, hybrid models and pure electric models made a joint appearance, reflecting the industry’s efforts to meet environmental requirements and diversified consumer needs. A number of European brands also launched affordable electric models at the show, with a view to attracting more consumers by lowering the threshold for electric vehicle purchase.
The Brussels Motor Show is the first in a series of annual auto shows in mainland Europe, and this year’s show will last until the 19th. The show will also organize car test drives, technical seminars and other activities to provide visitors with a full range of experience.
