The third UAE China Tire and Auto Parts Exhibition opened on the 27th at the Sharjah International Convention and Exhibition Center in the UAE. More than 200 Chinese companies from Shandong, Henan, Hebei, Jiangxi and other places participated in the exhibition, with an exhibition area of 10,000 square meters. This is the largest tire and auto parts industry exhibition independently organized by Chinese companies overseas.
As China’s largest logistics hub and trade distribution center in the Middle East, the UAE radiates to the Gulf, Eastern Europe, Africa, South Asia and other regions, playing a significant role as a bridge. More than 60% of China’s trade in the region is transited through the UAE. The economic and trade exchanges between the UAE and China are becoming increasingly close, with bilateral trade volume rising year by year, and China has been the largest trading partner of the UAE for many consecutive years. Thanks to its profound cooperation foundation and transportation hub advantages, the China Tire and Auto Parts Exhibition in the United Arab Emirates has developed rapidly and has now become a high-quality economic and trade exchange and cooperation platform radiating to the Middle East, West Asia, North Africa and other regions, and has received widespread attention and praise from all walks of life.
The three-day exhibition invited nearly 20,000 professional buyers from the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia and South Asia to visit and negotiate, fully displaying the new products and technologies of China’s tire and auto parts industry. The number of exhibitors and booths reached a record high, fully demonstrating the determination and strength of Chinese tire and auto parts companies to actively explore the Middle East market. On the first day of the opening, the number of visitors exceeded 10,000.
Wu Yi, Counselor of the Commercial Department of the Chinese Consulate General in Dubai, said in his speech that China’s tire production ranks first in the world, with a production capacity of 35% of the world and an export volume of about 40% of the world. China is also the world’s major auto parts production and supply base, and is well-known in the international market for its complete product categories and high cost performance. Shandong, as a major economic province in China, is home to many major tire and auto parts manufacturers, and occupies a pivotal position in the global tire and auto parts industry chain. As the largest trade distribution center for “Made in China” in the Middle East, the UAE has become a hub for Chinese goods to seamlessly connect with the Middle East, Africa and Europe. The holding of the UAE China Tire and Auto Parts Exhibition will promote exchanges between the tire and auto parts industries between China and the UAE, and help deepen and solidify the economic and trade cooperation between the two sides.
At the opening ceremony, the “CNAUTO” cross-border e-commerce platform for automotive equipment jointly created by Shandong Port Overseas Development Group and Guolian Co., Ltd. debuted. The platform integrates products such as tires, auto parts and commercial vehicles, and creates a digital logistics service system that integrates bonded warehousing, logistics transit, e-commerce, and supply chain comprehensive services, and is committed to promoting the cross-border expansion of China’s automotive equipment industry.
