Sweden’s National Pavilion and Camfil made their CIIE debut, jointly painting a new picture for the air purification industry.

From November 5th to 10th, 2025, the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). As the world’s first national-level expo themed on imports, this year’s CIIE, adhering to the theme of “New Era, Shared Future,” focused on global economic and trade cooperation and innovative development.

Coinciding with the important milestone of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Sweden, Sweden made its debut as the guest of honor at the CIIE’s national pavilion. Under the theme of “Working Together to Create Possibilities,” the pavilion brought together 19 leading Swedish companies, showcasing Sweden’s latest achievements in green technology, digitalization, healthcare, and green high-end manufacturing.

As a global leader in clean air solutions originating from Sweden, Comfil was honored to be invited to participate in the expo, making its debut at the Swedish national pavilion. During the expo, Comfil not only showcased its cutting-edge technologies and solutions in the field of clean air to guests from China and abroad, but was also invited to deliver a keynote speech at a concurrent forum, pooling wisdom with various parties to jointly envision the future of the industry.

Building a Path of Openness

During the China International Import Expo (CIIE), Camfil was invited to participate in the concurrent “China-Switzerland Innovation Day Forum” and “Life Science Forum,” sharing cutting-edge industry insights and experiences through keynote speeches. At the China-Switzerland Innovation Day Forum on November 7th, Ms. Wu Hailing, Director of Market Strategy for Camfil China, delivered a speech entitled “Camfil – Speaking for Clean Air.” In her speech, she shared: “We ingest 1 kg of food and drink 2 kg of liquids every day, but we breathe 15 kg of air daily. Clean air is crucial for everyone.” Supported by authoritative data from the World Health Organization’s “Global Air Quality Guidelines (2021),” she explained the potential hazards of particulate matter and gaseous pollutants in a clear and concise manner, mentioning that “approximately 5.5 million people die from air pollution globally each year,” allowing the audience to intuitively understand the importance of clean air to human health. In her speech, Ms. Wu Hailing also systematically introduced the significant achievements of Camfil’s series of products in protecting human health, ensuring process flow, and safeguarding environmental safety, drawing enthusiastic responses from the audience, in conjunction with Camfil’s one-stop solutions in the fields of life sciences, clean medical, microelectronics, and new energy.

The life sciences industry is a strategic industry related to national economy, people’s livelihood, and national security. As a leading global manufacturer of high-quality clean air solutions, the life sciences industry has always been one of Camfil’s core business segments. On the same day, Ms. Xu Jin, Head of Life Science Industry at Camfil China, was invited to attend the Life Science Forum and delivered a presentation on “Camfil China – Life Science Industry Solutions.” She detailed how Camfil helps life science customers strengthen process safety, reduce production-related costs, minimize energy consumption, and protect human health and the environment through innovative products and technologies.
