Exhibition Introduction
The 2026 Japan Tokyo Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Exhibition (IAAE) will be held from February 12th to 14th, 2026, at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center (located at 3-11-1 Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo, adjacent to Tokyo Bay and the Odaiba area). Organized by the Japan International Aftermarket Executive Committee, this annual exhibition covers 30,000 square meters, attracting 30,056 visitors and 680 exhibitors and brands.
The IAAE is Japan’s only professional exhibition for automotive parts and the aftermarket, focusing on automotive repair, maintenance, and after-sales services. It is also one of the largest professional auto parts exhibitions in East Asia.
The accumulation of exhibition demand, the limited availability of booth space, and the recovery of the automotive market have led industry professionals to be generally optimistic about the Japanese auto parts exhibition in recent years.
Automotive market characteristics: In Japan, the primary function of a car is transportation. However, due to the economic downturn and the declining interest of young people in buying and customizing cars, many automotive supply centers have started selling used cars. Almost every household in Japan owns a car, but people usually use public transportation for commuting to work and school.
