Exhibition Introduction
The East Africa (Tanzania) International Auto Parts Exhibition is held in Tanzania every year, attracting exhibitors and merchants from more than 20 countries to participate in the exhibition and visit. The exhibition only invites traders and importers to visit, which ensures the professionalism and transaction rate of the exhibition. The 22nd African Auto Expo (AUTOEXPO AFRICA) has more than 100 exhibitors and an exhibition area of 5,000 square meters, which is nearly 60% more than last year. More than 100 exhibitors will be comfortably accommodated in the venue and have a dedicated machinery display booth. The exhibition exhibitors come from 28 countries, more than 100 exhibitors, namely China, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Sweden, Russia, UAE, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom. There are more than 3,600 visitors who came to visit the site, including 2,000 professional merchants.

Why choose Tanzania?
1. Geographical location: Tanzania is located in eastern Africa, south of the equator. It borders Kenya and Uganda to the north, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique to the south, Rwanda, Burundi and Congo (DRC) to the west, and the Indian Ocean to the east. East Africa as a whole has a consumer market of 380 million US dollars, and Tanzania’s tariffs are relatively low, and some commodities are zero tariff, making its re-export trade very developed. The Tanzanian government is very friendly and has very favorable policies for foreign investment and international trade, which makes Tanzania a major trade center in East Africa and even the whole of Africa.
2. Tariff policy: In Tanzania, tariffs are quite low, and the tariffs for re-exports to neighboring countries are also very low, or even exempted from tariffs. Moreover, neighboring countries such as Ethiopia, Somalia, Mozambique, Uganda, etc. are on the road to development. As far as the automotive industry is concerned, with the development of local and neighboring countries, the demand for new cars and auto parts in East Africa has increased year by year. At the same time, because most of Africa is an emerging market, and the development of the automobile industry in African countries is extremely backward and almost zero, so cars and auto parts are mostly dependent on imports, and the market gap is very large. In addition, due to the relatively low local consumption level and purchasing power, Chinese products with good quality and low price are very popular. At present, there are only a few Chinese companies developing this region, and their market share is indeed very considerable, so the business opportunities of the East African International Auto Show cannot be ignored.

In the past few years, Tanzania has become a major regional trade center. This is mainly due to the very friendly and business atmosphere it provides for foreign investors and products. Tariffs are quite low, and re-exports to neighboring countries are either very low or duty-free. Tanzania’s coastal economy is unbalanced with the inland economy, and infrastructure construction is still imperfect. For a period of time, the Chinese government has given strong support in various forms and assisted in the construction of many infrastructure projects such as water conservancy, roads, bridges, and highways. At the same time, through the routes operated by Ethiopian Airlines, a link between Dar es Salaam and major Chinese cities has been established. This has undoubtedly played a role in promoting economic development in Tanzania, which is still underdeveloped. After Ethiopian Airlines signed Beijing Fanyuan International Transport Service Co., Ltd. as a freight forwarding company, the freight volume between China and Tanzania has increased day by day.
