DENSO continues to expand its diesel aftermarket product range with the introduction of seven new Common Rail Injector part numbers in August 2026. According to DENSO Aftermarket, the new injectors are designed specifically for independent aftermarket distribution in selected non-BER countries, including Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia, Israel, Serbia, Moldova, and Kyrgyzstan.
The latest expansion is another example of how the diesel fuel injection aftermarket continues to develop, even as vehicle technology becomes increasingly advanced. DENSO states that the seven new part numbers cover 50 applications and are linked to approximately 732,000 vehicles. This provides independent workshops and distributors with additional options when sourcing replacement common rail injectors for diesel vehicles.
The new range includes applications for Toyota diesel vehicles. For example, one of the newly listed injectors is associated with the Toyota Land Cruiser and Prado equipped with the 1KD-FTV engine, while another covers the Toyota Hilux VII with the 2KD-FTV engine. These applications demonstrate the continued demand for replacement fuel system components for established diesel engines in the aftermarket.
DENSO also highlights several differences in the new aftermarket products. The injectors have their own DENSO part numbers and compensation methods, while individual QR calibration codes are not supplied. Instead, instructions are provided inside the product packaging. This is an important detail for diesel specialists because injector replacement and calibration procedures can vary between different fuel injection systems.
The continued introduction of new common rail injector part numbers is significant for distributors and diesel repair workshops. As the number of applications increases, workshops need to identify the correct injector not only by vehicle model but also by engine type, OE reference, injector part number, and the required calibration procedure.
For the independent aftermarket, this also creates opportunities for suppliers of diesel injectors, repair components, testing equipment, and diagnostic tools. Accurate identification and reliable testing are becoming increasingly important as modern fuel injection systems require tighter control over injection quantity and performance.
DENSO’s latest product expansion shows that common rail diesel technology remains an active area of the aftermarket. Even for older diesel engines, the availability of new replacement components continues to evolve, giving repair shops and distributors more choices when maintaining vehicles already in service.
