Taking advantage of the opportunity presented by the 2025 Middle East (Dubai) International Auto Parts, Automotive Technology and Services Exhibition, from December 7th to 12th, Lin Dinghai, Vice President of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Automotive and Motorcycle Parts and Supplies Chamber of Commerce, Executive President of the Overseas Investment and Trade Branch, and head of the Guangliantongtu GL Auto Parts Industry Overseas Alliance, along with Jia Zongli, Chairman of Guangfengxing Automotive Group, and others, visited the core exhibition area of the Dubai World Trade Centre. They held intensive discussions with the exhibition organizers, leading local distributors, and purchasing representatives in the Middle East.
Thanks to its unique geographical location, world-class logistics ports, and free and open trade policies, Dubai has become a global center for automotive parts trade and re-export, connecting Asia, Europe, and Africa. For Chinese manufacturers seeking market diversification, it is an ideal gateway to a wider region.
During the exhibition, Lin Dinghai and his delegation visited the UAE Ruian Chamber of Commerce, Guangfengxing Saudi Arabia Riyadh and UAE Dubai Trading Companies, Ruili Dubai Company, and also visited the booths of Chinese companies such as Yihong Water Pump and Oudian at the exhibition.
Guangfengxing is a core member of the Guangliantongtu GL Auto Parts Industry Overseas Alliance. Guangfengxing Automotive Group’s overseas division primarily focuses on passenger car (including sedans and pickup trucks) sales and parts business, and is currently developing its heavy-duty truck business. The group is the general agent for KuaiZhunCheFu, a domestic auto parts retail platform, in the Middle East. Leveraging China’s strong supply chain system and brand resources, it is committed to introducing high-quality Chinese automobiles and parts to the Middle East market.
Currently, Guangfengxing is deeply cooperating with Guangliantongtu, complementing each other’s resources to jointly promote overseas business, cultivating the local market in Saudi Arabia and radiating to the Middle East and Africa from Dubai. The company has officially established an operation center in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, with a 2000-square-meter warehouse strategically located near major auto parts markets, providing convenient transportation and coverage to the entire city and surrounding areas. A directly operated store has been established in the center of the old industrial zone, the largest auto parts market in Riyadh, to create a new model for parts retail. The project’s product categories include automotive wear parts, lubricants, batteries, refrigerants, cleaning agents, chassis parts, exterior parts, and air conditioning system components, providing comprehensive services to terminal auto parts stores, repair shops, and regional wholesalers. The plan is to establish 30 franchised stores in 15 major markets in Riyadh by 2026. In other Saudi Arabian cities: regional distribution warehouses will be established in Jeddah and Dammam in the first half of 2026; franchised stores will be established in major markets. In the UAE: a medium-to-large transit warehouse will be established in the free trade zone in 2026 to serve the Middle East and Africa regions. This will be combined with online e-commerce platform operations and offline showrooms and warehouses to cover the local UAE market. Simultaneously, plans are underway for expansion into other Middle Eastern countries: Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and Jordan, with simultaneous deployment in 2026, leveraging the GSO unified certification system to achieve a one-stop Middle East distribution network.
Lin Dinghai stated that from a perspective of win-win cooperation, simple product procurement cannot meet the needs of large overseas customers. They require the brand, technology, marketing, IT systems, and overall project implementation capabilities behind the products. These resources are essential to maintain and strengthen the industry position of large overseas customers for the next 5-10 years. This inspection and对接 (business matching) aims to: firstly, leverage the overseas investment and trade branch of the Chamber of Commerce and the Guangliantongtu Auto Parts Industry Overseas Alliance, two cross-border cooperation platforms, to help more Chinese auto parts companies utilize Dubai’s geographical advantages and write a new chapter of mutually beneficial cooperation between China and the Arab world; secondly, to further explore overseas partners, seeking partners familiar with their respective countries’ automotive aftermarket, with local auto parts warehousing and distribution capabilities, and with the necessary teams to launch auto parts and repair projects, thereby opening up new markets in the Middle East, North Africa, East Africa, and South Asia.
